Dr. Rachel Jensen graduated from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry magna cum laude. As a child, Dr. Jensen loved visiting the general dentist and the dental specialists. Seeing her smile transformed at such a young age, Dr. Jensen knew that she wanted to improve lives one smile at a time!
Dr. Jensen completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at the Providence VA Medical Center. After her residency, she began working in Private Practice. Dr. Jensen enjoys treating both adults and children. She believes in teaching the importance of prevention and good oral care at a young age. Dr. Jensen’s goal is to give her pediatric patients the wonderful experience that she had as a young dental patient, in hopes to minimize dental anxiety in their future.
Dr. Jensen is an active member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Shoreline Dental Society, as well as the River Valley Study Club. She is currently serving as Co-President of the Shoreline Dental Society.
Originally from Killingworth, Dr. Jensen now lives in Clinton with her husband Scott and their chocolate lab mix, Moose. In her spare time, Dr. Jensen loves to bake, garden, do DIY home projects, travel, and hike with her husband and their dog.
