Can I get braces at your office ?

Yes, we are Invisalign® trained and certified. Invisalign® is the invisible way to straighten teeth using a series of custom-made, nearly undetectable aligners. Because there are no metal wires and brackets, Invisalign® is comfortable. And because it's removable, eating brushing and flossing are no problem. You can still enjoy your favorite foods and smile without holding back. With Invisalign®, there's nothing to hide.

What can be done to make my cleanings more comfortable ?

Effective and consistent home care including proper brushing and flossing technique along with routine biyearly cleanings is the best way to avoid sensitivity during your dental appointments. However, for those with extreme sensitivity we do offer a variety of effective, needle-free topical anesthetics.

How often should I have x-rays ?

As a new patient it is imperative as part of your complete examination that we have a full mouth series of radiographs. This series of radiographs should then be updated every 3-5 years. Biting radiographs, generally 2-4 films, which are used to detect cavities in-between the teeth and detect bone height are taken yearly.

Why do I need dental x-rays ?

Dental radiographs (x-rays) are used to diagnose different dental diseases and injuries. Many dental diseases of the teeth and supporting structures of the death cannot be seen clinically such as small cavities, bone loss, infection of the bone, cysts and even some tumors in the oral cavity. Treating dental diseases at an early stage will save you money, time and discomfort.

What can I expect at my first appointment ?

Your first appointment is when we get to know you. We would like to hear your questions and concerns about your dental health. This appointment will be just over one hour long and will consist of an initial examination including oral cancer screening, a cleaning consisting of a thorough periodontal examination and a complete set of radiographs.
